The first of many! (I hope)

I’ve written many of a blog for various people and companies (GimmeThisandThat.com, hhwst.net, stabcast.com, and crudehumorstudios.com). My biggest problem is that I take on too much at one time (see the About page). I spread myself too thin (hard for a fatty like myself) with blogs, podcasts, video shoots, and a personal life. I love to write, but found the process of selecting which show (for the cast of hhwst.net) to post on a pain in the ass.

I’m slowly getting to the point where I want to embrace twitter, but dread it because of all the handles for all the shows. Starting with blogging, I’m condensing. In a world where I’m a father now, I can’t spend all my time on this bloody podcasting/blogging. My son in far more important than any of that.

Enter NerdyKev.com: Single place to post blogs and have programming take care of where it goes. Read it all here, or frequent the site of your choice for the shows I do and enjoy the content there. WIN.

I would love to say I’m going to blog daily, but I’ve said it before and failed. All I can promise is that after a meeting I had last night with Mike about Crude Humor Studios, this go around is different. I still have all those big dreams, but realize that those big dreams require an even bigger foundation. So, with that in mind, I do want to blog daily to help build that foundation. Then I can accomplish my dreams so that I can show my son that no matter who you are, what you do, you can do anything you set your mind to.

I know that there’s already an overweight, nerdy, Kev from the east coast that has made something of his nerdom… but I think there’s room for a second!

OH! And I’ll figure out that pesky importing this to WordPress later!
